HISTORY
Like any bona fide classic, the Fritchie has stood the test of time. This years Fritchie at The Great Frederick Fairgrounds will be the 99th running of the event.

The BFC is more than a race, it's a tradition. This race has been held annually on the exact same 1/2 mile track for 99 years! (in 2020) No place else in the U.S. can make that claim. As this is a sport that began in the U.S., that also makes it the oldest in THE WORLD. There is no place else to be on the 4th of July!
